Wednesday Wishlist - Fall

We have had a nothing summer here in Toronto. July had some exciting storms and stifling heat, but August was mostly cool October weather. I don't mind and neither does my AC-less apartment, however as we experience some humidity again, I find myself permanently in Fall Shopping Mode.

Case and point:

1. Avery Buttondown - Anthropologie

I tried this on in the store and fell in love with how soft it was! But alas, it's a wee bit out of my price range.

2. Driving Mocassins - Gap

Okay, confession time. Between planning this post and now, I bought these shoes and they are just the best. Why should I wear anything other than mocassins from now on?

3. House of Harlow 1960 Gypsy Feather Necklace

I have a mild obsession with HOH. This necklace needs to not be sold out anymore so it can never be taken off my body.

4. The Buena Vista Social Bag - ArcOfADiver

In love with this girl's style! Fabulous fabrics and designs.

This week is my birthday week and while I have already done quite a bit of fall shopping, it's very difficult to not buy the rest of the items on this list! Stay cool, Toronto!

Wednesday Wishlist: Earrings. Finally.

I stretched my ear lobes in high school. Ten years later, I am only just letting them go back to normal. It was such a struggle/commitment to stretch them that I wasn't ready to let them go. That plus I liked the subtle silver tunnels I wore—people rarely noticed that they were able to see straight through my ears haha.

My obsession with stud earrings took over and one morning I took the plunge and removed the tunnels (silently screaming NOOOO the whole time). Then I went out and bought earrings that I had been coveting for weeks. And then ordered a bunch more. And then started making some out of buttons. I want them all!

Designer Crush: Biko

I thought about doing another Wednesday Wishlist but then I realized that this girl's entire website would be on it! My friend and I discovered Biko at the One of a Kind Show last week in Toronto. We kept going back to Corrine's booth but in the end came away only with her business card. I just couldn't make a choice! Here are some of my favs:
