Summer Picks

Ah, the summer slump. There you are! I'll admit, I've been bad. Now that it's so lovely outside, I want to be away from my computer as much as possible. Blogging has slowed down, sewing has ground to a halt, and shopping has accelerated to a concerning speed haha. I am starting a new job tomorrow (!!!) so I can't help but justify the need for new clothes and accessories. Seems only natural, right?

Sequins in the Shop

Well, it only took me several weeks longer than I had intended, but the sequinned clutches are in the shop finally! I hope to get some more fabrics and add to the collection but seriously, this month has gotten away from me. It's July next week! JULY!!! Toronto has been hit with a heat wave so it at least feels like summer finally!

Wednesday Wishlist: Earrings. Finally.

I stretched my ear lobes in high school. Ten years later, I am only just letting them go back to normal. It was such a struggle/commitment to stretch them that I wasn't ready to let them go. That plus I liked the subtle silver tunnels I wore—people rarely noticed that they were able to see straight through my ears haha.

My obsession with stud earrings took over and one morning I took the plunge and removed the tunnels (silently screaming NOOOO the whole time). Then I went out and bought earrings that I had been coveting for weeks. And then ordered a bunch more. And then started making some out of buttons. I want them all!

Shop Update! [2-2-13]

Hello!

It's finally shop update time!! This batch took way longer than I had intended but apparently new ideas have to be fleshed out as opposed to just appearing fully formed in my studio on my coffee table.

I am so excited to list a bunch of new fabrics and styles! All four new designs stemmed from feedback from awesome people. Over the next little while I will be adding more variations to the larger purses but for now it feels so amazing to have them out there. Here are some of my absolute favs now listed!
